Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as tight-ends within the National Football League. Gonzalez is considered to be one of the best tight ends to ever play. Additionally, he was the leader in receiving yards, and the third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez was also the NFL tight end who had the most receptions.

Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End now works as a FOX Sports Studio analyst. Gonzalez has been as a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's one-hour NFL pregame show prior to FOX NFL the SUNRISE) and is broadcast every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract to the Falcons for two years and $14 million on March 15 2013. The signing was in spite of the fact that Gonzalez had claimed he planned to retire after the 2013 NFL season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 in 2012, and Gonzalez (37 an age) spent last season as one of the NFL's top receivers.
